It seems like the silver screen would soon be replaced by your smartphone screen, the way Bollywood is taking the digital route for movie release is one reason to say that.

I know most of you would be like, the digital release is just a safer alternative amid the lockdown imposed due to Coronavirus but if you observe you’ll find that even before lockdown, some producers took the digital path for the movie release, ‘Drive’ is one movie to name.

So, yeah COVID 19 is also a reason but we can’t ignore the fact that your mobile screen can soon replace the big screen.

Talking about the latest development in digital releases we have Jhanvi Kapoor with her movie ‘Gunjan Saxena- The Kargil Girl’.

Just like other regional and Bollywood movie heading for a digital release amid the pandemic, Gunjan Saxena would also meet you in your mobile screen as the movie is finalized to be released on Netflix.

Yes, you read it right, after Shoojit Sircar’s ‘Gulabo Sitabo’ starring Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana, it is now time for Janhvi Kapoor’s ‘Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl’ to get a digital release.

Movie critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share the news.

He wrote: IT’S OFFICIAL… #GunjanSaxena: #TheKargilGirl to premiere on #Netflix… Stars #JanhviKapoor… Directed by Sharan Sharma… Presented by Zee Studios and Dharma Productions. #GunjanSaxenaOnNetflix

The ‘Kargil Girl’ also features Angad Bedi, Manav Vij, Pankaj Tripathi, Rajat Barmecha, Neena Gupta and Vijay Varma in pivotal parts.

The release date is yet to be announced.
