The year 2020 is going to have some more movies, where females will be the hero.
Here’s a list of some much anticipated female-centric movies that are expected to release in 2020, proving that 2020 is going to be the year of eves.
Based on the story of an acid attack survivor Laxmi Aggrawal, ‘Chhapaak’ will narrate the story of an acid attack victim and her quest to lead an empowered life. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, ‘Chhapaak’ has Deepika Padukone in the lead role.
Essaying the role of ‘Malti’, Deepika Padukone will live the life of an acid attack survivor and showcase the struggle of Malti as she faces the society.
The movie also stars Vikrant Messy in Pivotal rile.
The movie is slated to release on 10 Jan 2020.
Panga, Dhaakad, and Thalaivi
Kangana Ranaut has already established herself as the ‘Hero’ of the contemporary Hindi Cinema, following the same she is going to come up with a bag full of ‘Female centric‘ movies.
While Panga is slated to release on 24 January 2020, Thalaivi will release in June and Dhakkad will release in Diwali of this year.

The stereotype that girls are not good with numbers has been broken by a Maths genius Shakuntla Devi.
Hailed as the ‘Human-Computer‘, Shankutla Devi was a maths prodigy.
Vidya Balan will essay the character of Shakuntla Devi for the biopic. Directed by Anu Menon, the film also stars Sanya Malhotra in an important role.
The movie is slated to release in Summers of 2020.
Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl
Till now only men centric films have been made on ‘Kargil war’, the movies made on this topic have always shown the men talking the brave side. For the first time, a woman will be shown taking the tough stand.
Directed by Sharan Sharma, the movie has Janhvi Kapoor as the lead. Janhvi will essay the role of Gunjan Saxena, the first Indian Air Force pilot.
The biopic is slated to release on 13 March 2020.
