Mouni Roy is on a roll. A popular face on TV, Mouni has made her way into Bollywood and there is no stopping her. After playing lead opposite Akshay Kumar in Gold and making a sizzling appearance in KGF, the actress has bagged another lead role in Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Bole Chudiyan. “I can’t believe my fortune that I’m getting to work with Nawazuddin Siddiqui. I’m anxious about sharing the frame with him. He’s exceptionally ingenious and what I feel most insured about is that this will be a fantastic learning experience,” Mouni said to the media sources.

Nawazuddin says. “Mouni has untapped talent. She believes in experimenting and so is perfect for the role,” he was quoted saying. While not much is known about the character, we hear she will play a bright small town girl who thinks on her feet. The film will be a directorial debut of Nawazuddin’s brother Shamas Siddiqui.

Besides Bole Chudiyan, Mouni has a slew of Bollywood films in her kitty. She plays the lead opposite John Abraham in Romeo Akbar Walter that releases in April. She also stars alongside Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan in Ayan Mukerji’s December release Brahmastra. She plays the lead role in Made in China opposite Rajkummar Rao and there’s also Aamir Khan’s Mogul.
