The film and television actor Sandhya Mridul also shared her #MeToo story on her Twitter on Wednesday. She was also harassed by veteran actor Alok Nath during the shoot of a Zee telefilm. She narrated the horrific incident in her tweet and also lend her support to TV writer-producer Vinta Nanda who was sexually assaulted by Alok.

Sandhya Mridul wrote a note and vent out her heart with a post. She shared an incident which changed her as a person as well as her life. She wrote Alok Nath made her feel uncomfortable and misbehaved her in a hotel room where Alok lunged at her and was screaming, “I want you, you are mine.”
She played as his daughter in the TV show and was not able to complete her shoot because of this incident. She also thanked her co-star Reema Lagoo, who played her as a mother in the TV show, she helped her in this odd situation.
Alok even said sorry for his behavior but spread negative vibes which affected her career in a long way. She also wrote “Mr Alok Nath I will never forgive you for what you did with Vinta. I stand by you Vinta. What I went through is nothing compared to you. I’m so sorry. More power to you. Your time’s up sir.”
She also appreciated Tanushree Dutta for her stand. She wrote, “We have a voice finally. I stand with Tanushree, Vinta and every woman who has been through this and will follow suit and break her silence.”
